January 13, 2021 - Virtual Choir Update
Hello friends, thank you very much for your patience and waiting for the completion of this project. We obviously ran into some technical challenges in finishing this video in time for Christmas. We were also extremely busy with our regular jobs, taking care of our families and navigating the holidays which were very different this year. Fortunately all of us are in good health, and we pray that you are too.
Due to the delay of course we were disappointed especially when this piece was themed for Christmas celebration. However - we are just putting the finishing touches on it and cannot WAIT to release it. Our target date for the release is January 20th, 2021 and the VIDEO "Unto Us" will be posted HERE on this page as well as YouTube. We believe that this song will bring a lot of HOPE to people in these troubled times. Thank you again for lending your many beautiful voices! We want to express again how grateful we are for your contribution of time and energy to this choral project. Looking forward to connecting with you again soon!

Welcome to 2020 Virtual Christmas Choir
Hello friends!
Thank you for volunteering to be part of our Virtual Christmas Choir project. We will be singing “Unto Us A Child Is Born” from Isaiah 9:6. We are excited and honored that you would lend your voice to this Christmas piece set for release over the internet in mid December 2020. Here is some information to help you get started.
1. FILES TO DOWNLOAD
Please follow the links below to the recording, and download the mp3’s with each of the vocal parts and music score. A conducting video will be available shortly to assist you in rehearsing this piece.

2. TIPS FOR RECORDING
To capture your performance you may use your laptop, PC, phone, or a video camera - whatever you have access to. You will need headphones during the recording because you cannot have the guide track playing loudly in the background. To clarify you need two devices to accomplish the recording – one (like a computer) to listen and follow the guide video and the other device to record yourself singing (phone, iPad, tablet or another computer).
A few important details:
As the guide track begins you will hear a count off “1+2+3+CLAP" your hands on beat FOUR onto your video before you begin singing. This will help line up all of the videos for the post-production process.
Locate a neutral, plain wall or background in your home or office so that your beautiful face is the focal point in the video. Please dress in semi-professional (not formal or Christmas) attire and make sure that there is good lighting where you are recording.
3. DEADLINE UPDATE!:
The NEW deadline to submit your video is SEPTEMBER 30, 2020 (We decided to extend the deadline because of some production obstacles we have experienced!)
4. WHERE TO SUBMIT YOUR VIDEO:
We will post a link where you will UPLOAD your finished video! This is why #5 is so important...
